Expatriate Information
There are several useful sites that provide valuable Expatriate Information about Cebu and the Philippines in general.
If you are planning a visit to Cebu as a tourist for the first time, or even if you have lived here for some time, the combined knowledge of the expats already living here can be of great assistance to you in making your stay more enjoyable.
I use all of these sites regularly and have yet to see a question from someone go unanswered by a member of one of the two forums. It is a free but very valuable service that everyone should check out. I recently had to go to Manila to visit the Australian Embassy and needed a cheap hotel that was nearby; my request for help was answered within minutes and saved me a great deal of searching on the internet or indeed on the ground.
You can also sometimes build up a network of "friends" that are available to help you face to face when you finally arrive in Cebu.
